The Public Relations Manager is a critical member of our PR & social media team. Responsible for executing traditional and social media PR for multiple motorsports and non-motorsports clients. The Public Relations Manager uses their expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills to develop programs that support the goals and growth of assigned clients. Duties & Responsibilities: - Making new business presentations and developing new business opportunities in collaboration with VP of Business Development
- Acting as principal client contact for all Campbell services and primarily responsible for client satisfaction, and budget integrity
- Leading strategy, program, and project execution
- Participating in client’s key planning and strategy sessions
- Coordinating and overseeing all internal resources necessary to meet or exceed client expectations
- Envisioning and bringing to life appropriate strategies and tactics to achieve client objectives
- Developing and formalizing scopes of work, corresponding budgets, and monthly billing
- Determining account/project staffing needs and creating account/project teams
- Determining, when appropriate, annual staff performance goals/expectations and conducting annual staff performance reviews
- Training and development of account/project staff, per Campbell training matrix
- Promoting staff compliance with Company’s Quality Operating System
- Assisting in the recruitment and hiring of staff
Knowledge, Skills, Experience: - Substantial agency experience preferred, with broad-based familiarity of marketing communications platforms
- Expert coordination and/or execution of client marketing initiatives within major events
- Experience integrating multiple communications platforms to achieve client objectives
- Experience with multiple social media platforms and their best uses
- Experience incorporating creative and digital interactive resources into integrated marketing initiatives
- Forecasting skills to accurately plan labor resources necessary for optimal execution of client initiatives
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and verbal communication skills
- Creative and effective problem solving skills
- Supervisory skills to effectively coach, counsel, manage, mentor, and develop staff
- Candidate must be a self-motivated team player with the ability to work in a customer oriented, fast-paced and demanding environment with minimal supervision on multiple projects
- Candidate should anticipate some evening and weekend work, and some travel will be required
